The George Group LLC is a professional services firm specializing in operational excellence.  Our view is that reality is undefeated.  We leverage principles of Economics, 80:20 business playbook, end to end Value Stream thinking, Lean, The Toyota Production System,  Deming and Juran to discover and apply the necessary information to structure your operations for maximum value creation.  We are system level improvers.

Our toolbox is comprehensive (value stream mapping, six sigma, SQC/SPC, kaizen, kanban, operational excellence frameworks, visual management, layered KPI’s, project management, and on and on) and we possess the wisdom of knowing when and how to apply tools and the creativity necessary to invent new ones.

Our advisors are all Senior level professionals with engineering degrees (ChE, EE, IE, ME) who have worked  20+ years in industry in roles such as Plant Manager, Business President, Operations Vice President, COO and CEO and have improved products and processes, executed turnarounds, managed through significant crises, and built high functioning cultures and teams.  As advisors and consultants, our team has executed projects in a broad range of business types and functions: discrete manufacturing (HVAC, Elevators, Automotive, Aerospace, Consumer Goods, Electrical Products, and so on), Process Industry manufacturing (specialty chemicals, materials manufacturing), Agriculture, Architecture/engineering, and even education.

Underlying all of this is human behavior and organizational culture.  Our approach incorporates moral philosophy, management routines, coaching, and problem-solving behaviors that build and sustain adaptability necessary for creating maximum enterprise and human value.

We drive system level improvement by applying the appropriate tool (six sigma, kaizen, kanban, operational excellence frameworks, visual management, layered KPI’s, project management, and on and on).  Tool selection is context dependent.  We bring all the tools in the typical improvement toolbox and know how to create new ones tailored to your reality. Data only answers the question that was asked; we know what questions to ask and which tools to apply to get to the right answer.
